Gerrit Cole – Anaheim Angels – Mr. I am not an employee of the Astros is going to jump to another team in the same division. The Angels HAVE to make a splash this year. There is no more delaying. They have the best player in the game and they went out and got the Manager they wanted. Winning has to happen now.

Anthony Rendon – Washington Nationals – World Series Ring. Possible MVP award. Washington DC LOVES Rendon and losing him would tarnish the championship in the eyes of the fans. Plus if the Nationals want to make a run at another World Series they need their best player back in the lineup.

Yasmani Grandal – Cincinnati Reds – Grandal was drafted by the Reds in 2010 and was traded to the Padres in 2011. This would reunite him with his original franchise and give the Reds another solid veteran to go along with their young talent. This signing won’t be the difference between making or missing the playoffs but would make the Reds stronger.

Hyun-Jin Ryu – Los Angeles Dodgers – With Kershaw not as dominate as he used to be, but still very good, they need to keep their starting pitching as strong as they can be. Buehler is their number one in my opinion but having Ryu as your number two makes you a powerful team in any division.

Jake Odoizzi – Texas Rangers – I think the Rangers will try to get a higher level starting pitcher but won’t be able to land any of the top free agents and will fall back to Odoizzi.

Didi Gregorious – Philadelphia Phillies – The Phillies have to find a way to be more competitive this year and with Joe Girardi signing as their new Manager I think the chances of Gregorious signing there goes up. The Phillies will still need a couple more pieces to compete with the World Series champs, Nationals, and the NL East champs, Braves.

Dallas Keuchel – Atlanta Braves – Keuchel wants to get back to his 2018 season but in order to do that he needs to sign before spring training. He did okay with the Braves and I really think staying in the NL is going to give him the best chance to rebound.

Mike Moustakas – Milwaukee Brewers – Moustakas has been a good fit for the Brewers but I will say that if the Braves do lose Donaldson or the Nationals lose Rendon then I could see them making a push to get Moustakous.
