Bryce Harper – San Francisco Giants – The Giants are going to go all in on Harper. He would give them an instant boost of offense in the outfield. The problem though is that they are going to need more than just Harper to be a competitor in the NL West with the Dodgers, Rockies and DBacks all strong teams.

Dallas Keuchel – San Diego Padres – This is a long shot, but the Padres need starting pitching. Keuchel would be able to pitch in a very pitcher friendly park with a young offense that could provide him with solid run support.

Nathan Eovaldi – Texas Rangers – The Rangers need to improve in a lot of areas. My first thought though was the Mariners until reports starting coming out that they are going to rebuild (finally).

Nelson Cruz – Minnesota Twins – The Twins could use a boost offensively and the addition of Cruz would give them another solid hitter in the middle of the lineup. Cruz may be get older but he production that last couple of years has been amongst the best in the game.

Adam Ottavino – Los Angeles Dodgers – Twice the Dodgers have gotten to the World Series and failed to win it. I have a feeling that this year they are going to do everything they can to change that and upgrading the bullpen is step number 1.

Hyun-Jin Ryu – Anaheim Angels – The Angels don’t want to keep wasting MIke Trout’s best years, but they need pitching in a bad way. Ryu gets to stay in an area he has already lived in for a few years and play with an outstanding defensive team.

Mike Moustakas – St Louis Cardinals – I actually wrote up my first draft with Moustakas staying with the Brewers and then I saw MLB put out something guessing that Josh Donaldson would go to the Cardinals and I just shook my head on that one. Then I thought about what Moustakas could do for that team and the fact that he played for the Royals, just across the state, I’m sure he has a large fan base already built in.

Josh Donaldson – Los Angeles Angels of Anaheim, Orange County, California – Picking up Donaldson is completely about hoping he can regain some of his form and give them a solid bat at 3rd base. Plus the Angels have a history of picking up older players with contracts that hurt the team more than help.
