Day 6 Game 1 Quarterfinals Longview, WA (1) vs. Tallahassee, FL (6)
Winner advances into semifinals to play Albany. Tallahassee started the scoring in the 1st inning on an AJ Thorp RBI single into right field. Longview didn’t take long to respond as they tied the game up in the 2nd inning with ab RBI single from Chance Cothren. Tallahassee got the lead back in the 3rd inning on a sac fly from Argene Lynn and they add another run in the 4th inning as Will Brown smacked a 2 out RBI double down the third base line. Longview had many chances to get back in the game but couldn’t put anymore runs on the board. Tallahassee added 3 insurance runs in the 6th inning and that was all she wrote for Longview. Great tournament from the host team!

Day 6 Game 2 Quarterfinals Concord, NH (1) vs. K-W-R-L, WA (2)
Winner advances to play Mifflin County in the semifinals. Concord opened up the game quick and Jake Sullivan scored on a double steal. KWRL bats finally woke up in the 3rd inning and Landen Krausse gave them the lead with a 2 RBI single. Mike Goode was nails on the mound for KWRL all night long. In the 4th inning KWRL looked to add to their lead but Concord catcher Trevor Smith threw out two base runners at third base. The game headed into the 7th inning with KWRL holding a 2-1 lead. Nate Vandersea started the inning with a leadoff single and that chased Goode from the game. Krausse came in and closed the game out with a K and two fly balls. After starting the tournament 0-2 KWRL has won three straight loser out games to advance into the semifinals.
