Doug Jones passed away at the age of 64. He had a 16-year MLB career spent mostly with the Indians and Brewers. Jones was a 5-time All-Star.
Bill Virdon passed away at the age of 90. He had a 12-year playing career and managed for 13 years. Virdon was the NL Rookie of the Year in 1955 with the Cardinals and won a World Series with the Pirates in 1960.
Wade Davis announced his retirement from MLB after playing 13 years mostly with the Royals and Rays. Davis was a 3-time All-Star and won a World Series with the Royals in 2015.
