Jose Abreu is the winner of the AL Hank Aaron Award. He is the 1st Chicago White Sox to win the award.
Freddie Freeman is the winner of NL Hank Aaron Award. He is the 2nd Atlanta Brave to win the award, the other was Andruw Jones in 2005.

Dick Allen passed away at the age of 78. He was the 1964 NL Rookie of the Year, 1972 AL MVP and a 7-time All-Star. In December 2014 Allen missed being elected into the Hall of Fame by one Veterans Committee vote. He spent a majority of his career with the Phillies and White Sox.

The White Sox have acquired RHP Lance Lynn from the Rangers. The Rangers will receive RHP prospect Dane Dunning (White Sox #5 prospect) and LHP prospect Avery Weems.
The Giants have signed RHP Matt Wisler to a 1 year/$1.15 million contract.
The White Sox have signed OF Adam Eaton to a 1 year/$7 million contract with a club option for 2022. Eaton played with the White Sox from 2014-16.
The Royals have signed DH/1B Carlos Santana to a 2 year/$17.5 million contract plus performance bonuses.
