Recently a movement was started by former Minor League Player Eric Sim, of getting Chipotle gift cards and sending them to Minor League Baseball players. The reasoning for this is because most Minor League players don’t make enough to really afford food. Even now as they are at Spring Training following their dreams they aren’t getting paid at all.

This opens up a door for individuals, churches and organizations to step up and impact the life of a young man striving to reach his dreams. Through 9 Inning Know It All I have begun seeking players in need that would be greatly impacted by a simple thing like this.

If you would be interested in getting a gift card for a player and have me send it please let me know. You can do this on your own behalf, your churches behalf or an organization. Gift cards don’t have to be Chipotle but should at least be a national chain like Subway.

If you are wanting to help strengthen the game of baseball this is a simple but very impactful way for the for the baseball community to come together and make a difference.
