I’m pumped for this year. I’m also terrified. I’ve come to the realization that 2020 is a make or break year for 9 Inning Know It All in a lot of ways.
Honestly I’m going all in this year. I’m focusing on creating content on the 9 Inning Know It All YouTube channel, making an emphasis on selling photos, starting fresh with the Patreon account and a few other changes.
I’m doing all of this because I need to figure out if 9 Inning Know It All is something that is worth the amount of time and finances that I invest into it each year.
I also need to determine if there are enough individuals who see what we are doing at 9 Inning Know It All on the site and social media pages and are willing to support it beyond just reading and watching our content (which does help as well).
I estimated that last years expenses to keep the site running, paying for gas to games and other related expenses cost me around $3000 and that doesn’t even include the hundreds of hours I put in. When baseball and softball are in full swing (March into October) it isn’t out of the question to put in at least 20 hours a week and during tournaments 40+ hours a week.
I know a lot of people enjoy what is happening with 9 Inning Know It All and I really plan to always keep the site going as long as I can afford it, but I’ve really had to take a step back and look at what I’m doing. I’m tracking everything this year so that by November and December I can make an informed decision about 2021.
If you are interested in being a supporter of 9 Inning Know It All there are a couple ways of doing so. Becoming a Patreon Supporter is a way that helps me cover basic costs of the site and shows me that people value what I’m doing (there are also benefits for Patreon Supporters).
Hiring me to come photograph games, tournaments or even just team photos helps out in a big way. Along with that buying photos from games that I do go to helps cover costs. You can visit my photo site 9 Inning Photograph SmugMug by clicking here.
If you can’t afford to be a monthly supporter or don’t have a reason to buy photos there are still ways to support 9 Inning Know It All. Subscribe to the 9 Inning Know It All YouTube channel, retweet our posts on twitter and share our content on Facebook so that more baseball fans can find us.
My goal is still to grow the game of baseball and the support I get from you helps me know if I’m making a difference or not.
You can watch my video 9 Inning Know It All in 2020 to hear about a lot of the changes and focus that I’m doing this year.
