Dustin Pedroia officially announced his retirement from MLB. He spent all 14 years of his MLB career in Boston. Pedroia was the 2007 AL Rookie of the Year, 2008 AL MVP, 4-time Gold Glove, 1 Silver Slugger, 4-time All-Star and won 2 World Series in 2007 and 2013.
The Braves announced they hired Hall of Famer Chipper Jones to join their Major League coaching staff on a part-time basis as a hitting consultant.
The Rays hired Denard Span as a Special Assistant to the Baseball Operations. Span had a 11-year MLB career and played with the Rays in 2008.

The Angels have acquired LHP Alex Cobb and cash from the Orioles. The Orioles will receive 2B prospect Jahmai Jones (Angels #7 prospect).
The Mets acquired RHP Jordan Yamamoto from the Marlins. The Marlins will receive INF prospect Federico Polanco.
The Rangers signed OF Delino DeShields Jr. to a minor league deal with a Spring Training invite. DeShields play with the Rangers from 2015-19.
The Cardinals acquired 3B Nolan Arenado and $50 million from the Rockies. The Rockies will receive LHP Austin Gomber, 3B prospect Elehuris Montero (Cards #8 prospect), RHP prospect Tony Locey (Cards #19 prospect), SS prospect Mateo Gil (Cards #22 prospect) and RHP prospect Jake Sommers.
The Reds have signed LHP Sean Doolittle to a 1 year/$1.5 million contract plus performance bonuses.
The Rays have signed RHP Chris Archer to a 1 year/$6.5 million contract.
