It isn’t uncommon for me to take 1,000 photos at games that I cover. I don’t do it because I believe in quantity over quality but really because I want to make sure I catch moments for every player that steps onto the field.
Yes I sell photos to make money but I also make it a point to give photos away. Creating memories is something special that I have the opportunity to do. It is a big reason why having Patreon supporters is so important, because I know that even when I do give photos away I’m being supported by individuals who see what I’m doing and want to keep me doing it.
