This year has been a year of change and growth for 9 Inning Know It All. This summer the number of teams covered, events attended and games photographed is far and away more than any previous year. I took over 80,000 photos this year and I honestly couldn’t have done it without the support I receive.

This year to just keep the website active and live it cost me $400. That may not seem like a lot but to me, a full time stay at home dad (although very rewarding doesn’t pay much), it is a big amount. Then when you add in the amount of money I’ve spent on gas to get to events and games across the NW, expenses add up.
The support I get from the Patreon supporters is a big game changer for me. I know that each month the cost of gas and keeping the site active is softened. This allows me to get to more games than ever before. I honestly don’t know if I would be able to keep doing 9 Inning Know It All without the support I get there.
If you please consider being a Patreon Supporter it would be greatly appreciated. Even $2 a month helps me to get to more games and cover more teams. 9 Inning Know It All Patreon Page.
If you follow 9 Inning Know It All on Facebook or Twitter I’m sure you know that in October my camera was hit by a ball (first time in 10 years of photographing) and was destroyed. I was honestly devastated and didn’t see a way to continue with photographing games.
Everyone who supported me through encouragement and through donating to the GoFundMe account set me straight. This October was the most appreciated and supported I’ve felt since starting 9 Inning Know It All.
So much so that even though I had started to put some watermarks on photos to help try and get some additional sales to pay for covering games I’m going to move the watermarks to the corner of the photos and make it smaller. That way 9 Inning Know It All is still on the photos but doesn’t block or take away from those who wish to have a photo. I still plan to sell photos to help pay for the expenses of going to games but I don’t want to lose the foundation of what 9 Inning Know It All was initially built on, and that is providing photos to players, families and teams to help grow the game.
Although I cover events and teams of all different levels the NWAC is truly the home and foundation of 9 Inning Know It All. The coaches across the league have been unbelievable. Welcoming me into the dugout to take photos, making their teams available for interviews and being great encouragers.
