The Phillies have acquired RHP Clay Buchholz from the Red Sox. The Red Sox will receive minor league 2B Josh Tobias.
The Padres have re-signed LHP Clayton Richard to a 1 year/$1.75 million contract.
The Pirates have re-signed RHP Ivan Nova to a 3 year/$26 million contract.
The Indians have signed 1B/DH Edwin Encarnacion to a 3 year/$60 million contract with a club option for a 4th year.
The Braves and OF Ender Inciarte have agreed to a 5 year/$30.525 contract extension with a club option for a 6th year.
The Tigers have signed C Al Avila to a 1 year/$2 million contract.
The Angels have signed OF Ben Revere to a 1 year/$4 million contract plus incentives.
