In all my years of being around baseball I’ve realized that my favorite type of player is the one who just quietly goes about his business and lets his play on the field talk for his skills and abilities. When I interviewed Chase Teter from Treasure Valley Community College I got the sense that he is one of those players. A humble and calm demeanor makes him seem like just another guy, but when you look at his stats and see that he led the entire NWAC conference in hits with 67, you can tell there is something more to him.
