The Braves announced that former pitcher Tim Hudson will be inducted into the Braves Hall of Fame. Hudson pitched for the Braves from 2005-13 and was an All-Star in 2010.

 

TRANSACTIONS

The Rangers signed RHP Steve Delabar to a minor league deal with a Spring Training invite. Delabar was an All-Star with the Blue Jays in 2013.

The Tigers signed INF Pete Kozma to a minor league deal with a Spring Training invite.

The White Sox acquired RHP Joakim Soria, LHP Luis Avilan and cash in a 3 team trade. The Dodgers will receive LHP Scott Alexander and prospect INF Jake Peter. The Royals will receive prospect RHP Trevor Oaks (Dodgers #14 prospect) and prospect INF Erick Mejia.

The Brewers have signed LHP Boone Logan to a 1 year/$2.5 million contract with a club option for 2019.

The Padres have re-signed RHP Craig Stammen to a 2 year/$4.5 million contract plus incentives.

The Padres have signed Japanese RHP Kazuhisa Makita to a 2 year/$4 million contract.

The Blue Jays acquired INF Yangervis Solarte from the Padres. The Padres will receive 2 prospects: OF Edward Olivares (Blue Jays #18 prospect) and RHP Jared Carkuff.
