Kind of crazy huh?

braves2Apparently the Atlanta Braves are “Going Oprah” as everyone gets an extension.

Derek Jeter announced that he will hang it up at the end of this season. Is he a first ballot Hall of Famer? I think so. Jeets has been a class act, A true Yankee. Even the Yankee Hater Gene Hutmaker gave Jeets props.

College baseball got off to a flying start. Here in the Northwest, Oregon and Oregon State are off to hot starts, as is George Fox and Linfield College. University of Portland knocked off UCLA and Cal St. Fullerton lost as well. It’s early folks.

Speaking of Linfield College, Linfield’s ace Chris Haddeland is on the Golden Spikes Award watch list. One of 60 on the list, and the only D3 player on the list. https://www.linfield.edu/sports/release.php?id=5260
