What areas of your game have been focusing on lately to improve upon for the 2026 season?
I have been focusing on increasing my exit velocity at bat. I am doing this by increasing my bat speed as well as adjusting my nutrition to increase size. I also continue my focus on quality ABs and reading pitches while perfecting my ability and awareness of attack angles and swing plane through the zone. These focuses are important because I want to keep consistently hitting 85mph+ pitching with and without movement and increasing bat speed/hand speed will naturally increase exit velocity which will translate to continued success at the plate.
What are some goals you hope to reach in the next year or couple of years?
I want to increase my overall strength in the gym. I have been hitting PRs in the gym but I do not want to plateau. I am going to keep pushing! I would like to add 10lbs of lean mass by summer which will help with my exit velo focus. On the academic side, increasing my GPA from 3.95 is a goal. It’s difficult to raise it much but I have a goal to move it higher!
How long have you been playing baseball and what got you started in the game?
I have been playing baseball for 13 years. I started playing T-Ball at 3-4 years old and never stopped. My parents exposed me to every sport at a young age from soccer to baseball just to see what I liked to play the most. Baseball was the one of the ones that stuck. Attending Minor League and MLB games with my family also pushed me to want to be the best player I could be.
What are some of your favorite things about the game of baseball?

I think my favorite thing about the game of baseball is the friendships and family that is built playing the game. Being a part of something that is bigger than yourself, like a baseball team, is awesome! Baseball is a game a failure and you have to be mentally and physically strong to keep a positive mindset after tough plays or ABs. I love being challenged to overcome adversity and baseball is the best sport for that. Baseball, in my opinion, is the hardest sport to be good at and putting in all the hard work to be successful translates to life after baseball too.
Who in your life has helped push you to be your best on the field?
This answer is probably pretty typical but … my dad. He is my biggest fan but also a great off the field life coach. If it’s at the cage, soft toss, catch, analyzing film, whatever… he is there for me. There’s nothing but cheers for me and my teammates from the stands and never a negative word before, during or after a game. Win or loss. He allows me to be me and that’s what I love. He also treats my friends and teammates like family and that is special. My teammates are also a huge factor in my success. I have played with some of my teammates since T-Ball and we have all had our ups and downs while growing up. The key is that we have all been there for each other to bring us up when down and promote all our successes! It’s an amazing feeling to have teammates always in your corner! Makes the game of baseball so much fun!
