ALCS: Boston Red Sox (92-70) vs Houston Astros (95-67)

I am 100% not going lie. I am not a fan of either of these teams so this is tough for me but here we go. Both the offenses are great and I except a lot of runs to cross the plate over the series. Red Sox are going with Chris Sale in Game 1 and Nathan Eovaldi in Game 2. After that are a bunch of question marks. I thought the Astros had the better advantage in their rotation but Lance McCullers not being able to play in the ALCS hurts them big time. In the long run I think the Astros postseason experience helps them the most. I think the Astros advance and trust me that hurts to say.

NLCS: Los Angeles Dodgers (106-56) vs Atlanta Braves (88-73)

We get a rematch of last years NLCS that went seven games and the Dodgers had to come back from 3-1 to advance. You would think that a 106-win team would be able to easily handle an 88-win team but I’m not sure that is the case. I don’t think anyone thought the Braves would be back here after losing Ronald Acuna Jr. and Mike Soroka to injuries. I’m not sure who the Dodgers turn to for Game 1 after Julio Urias throwing 4 innings and Max Scherzer getting his first ever save in Game 5 and Walker Buehler pitching on short rest in Game 4. The Braves will be able to set their rotation and I wouldn’t be surprised if the Braves jumped out to an early lead in the series. You know Freddie Freeman is going to be Freddie Freeman. Even after all that I don’t know if they will be able to overcome the Dodgers. The Dodgers are so deep even without Clayton Kershaw and Max Muncy. Dodgers and keep the chance to repeat alive.

NLCS MVP: Mookie Betts
