NLDS: New York Mets (90-72) at Los Angeles Dodgers (92-70)
Dodgers win!!! That’s all that needs to be said. I bleed blue!!!
NLDS: Chicago Cubs (97-65) at St. Louis Cardinals (100-62)
How the Cardinals won 100 games with all the injuries they had this season is amazing. You can’t ever count them out. Even after saying that I’m picking the Cubs. The latest injury to Carlos Martinez was the last straw in my opinion. The Cards are 13-17 over their last 30 games the Cubs are riding high after their Wild Card victory in Pittsburgh. These two teams have had issues with each other lately. Don’t be surprised if you see some fire in these games. I think it will be a well-played series, all close games.
ALDS: Texas Rangers (88-74) at Toronto Blue Jays (93-69)
The Rangers were one of the hottest teams the last month of the season as they surpassed the Astros to win the AL West. The Blue Jays were one of the hottest after acquiring Tulo and Price at the Trading Deadline. I’m picking the Blue Jays to win the series. The Rangers don’t have the arms to handle the Blue Jays bats. Cole Hamels gives the Rangers the best chance to win at least 1 game.
ALDS: Houston Astros (86-76) at Kansas City Royals (95-67)
The Astros won their AL Wild Card game to advance to the ALDS. Their present was the best team in the AL this year and last year’s ALCS champs, Royals. The pesky Astros will give the Royals a run for their money but I think they will hold off the Astros and return to the ALCS. The question for the Royals will be how their rotation holds up. I’m looking forward to watching this series.
