There are few things in baseball more nerve wracking then coaching. You can prepare your players for weeks and months but once they step on the field it is out of your hands. You are there to guide them, encourage them, and keep them focused on the goal. Eddie Smith, head coach of the Lower Columbia Red Devils, has done a tremendous job in both preparing his team for the season and keeping them hungry for more all season long.
This season Eddie Smith has led his team to a 36-9 record including 24-1 in conference play. His talent for developing young players is evident in his call to join Team USA’s 17U development program.
