Baseball is a game of statistics and milestones. Whether it’s 3,000 hits, 500 homeruns, 300 wins or a first hit, reaching a milestone can be a great accomplishment. With this post the 9 Inning Know It All empire reaches a milestone of our own. This is our 500th post on the site.
I have enjoyed and experienced so much over the 4 years since I created this blog and reaching 500 posts is exciting for me. One of the things I have enjoyed the most about my time as the 9 Inning Know It All is hearing the stories of fans, players and coaches.
Whether its Norm writing about his time as a clubhouse manager, Kelly writing about coaching his girls, or one of our amazing guest writers talking about What Baseball Means to Them, the stories have most definitely been the part that I enjoyed the most.
As we look to the next 500 posts I want to expand and do even more. I want to have more writers tell about their stories, experiences and even about the teams in their local area. I want to do interviews with players from all different levels. Share photos of players who play the game because they have a dream and love the feel of walking onto the diamond.
So I want to ask you, do you want to be a Know It All? How would you like to share your stories about baseball. Write about your local college, summer and minor league teams? Well here is your chance to join with us.
You don’t have to be a former professional player; you don’t have to be a scout, just someone who loves the game of baseball like the rest of the 9 Inning Crew.
You can write about games you’ve been to, how baseball has impacted you, players you’ve seen and more.
If you are interested you can leave a comment on this post, send me a message on twitter @9innknowitall or send us a message on Facebook on our 9 Inning Know It All page.
So let me ask you one more time, do you want to be a Know It All?
