The month of September is here and we are only weeks away from the playoffs. The Dodgers have a commanding lead in the NL West, The NL Central is on pace to put three teams into the playoffs and the AL West is still up in the air.

First things first, the rankings for the MLB Fan Blogs for the month of August is out and the 9 Inning Know It All is up to #18.  Our goal is to be at the top of the rankings and the last few months we have been slowly moving that way.

We try and bring you, the baseball fan, stories and interviews that you wouldn’t get on ESPN.  We are baseball for the fan, by the fan.
