By Josh:
I’m a baseball fanatic and by definition that means that numbers are important to me. Whether its 500 homeruns, 3,000 hits, or having a .400 batting average, numbers are significant in the game of baseball.
That is why I’m excited to celebrate the 300th post in the history of the 9 Inning Know It All blog.
300 is an important number in baseball. A player that can finish a season with a .300 batting average can look back and know that they had a great season.
A pitcher with 300 wins is a lock for the Hall of Fame.
Reaching our 300th post doesn’t automatically mean we have achieved all of our goals for the 9 Inning Empire. In fact it actually means we are listing out new goals for the future of the 9 Inning Empire.
Our primary goal has been and will continue to be to not only talk about baseball, but to give fans stories and interviews that they wouldn’t see in other places. ESPN may cover the big stuff, but we cover the fun stuff.
Thank you so much to all of our readers and followers. Your support has been the reason we have continued the blog and been so excited to try new areas like the Blog Talk Radio shows.
Over the next couple of months we are going to begin unveiling some new things with the 9 Inning Empire including the selling of shirts and possibly other merchandise.
