As a baseball fan I love reading all the early season MLB award predictions. In 2014 how many “experts” picked Corey Kluber for AL Cy Young, not alot if any. Same goes for Dallas Keuchel last year. So last year we did this and I believe everyone I asked got at least one of thier picks correct. Most picks are pretty generic but every once in a while someone will pick a sleeper and get it right. I am by no means an expert but I am a huge baseball fan. I asked 12 other huge baseball fans to give me there picks and this is what we came up with. I’m very interested to see how we all did when the season is over. In the meantime enjoy the game that we all so very much love and PLAY BALL!!!
No suprises here really. The majority went chalk with Harper, Trout and Kershaw. Hernandez is a little surprise to me. I love King Felix but I don’t think he is the same pitcher he was 2 or 3 years ago. I would love it if he proves me wrong the leads the Mariners to the playoffs. He would be great in the postseason. I myself went with Harper for NL MVP but loved the Goldschmidt pick.
Corey Seager looks like the favorite in the NL for Rookie of the Year with the AL being wide open. The majority of us have Joe Maddon winning back to back Manager of the Year awards.
