With the Superbowl done and football finished one things stands out to me. The next big sports event is the start of spring training. Baseball is so close.  So to help everyone get ready for one of my favorite days of the year I’m going to provide everyone with some of my favorite Twitter accounts to follow, blogs to read and maybe even a few other extras.

Twitter Accounts

To begin with if you haven’t followed the five writers of the 9 Inning Know It All blog you should start with them.  Myself (Josh) @9InnKnowItAll, Norm @Tezbaseball, Kelly @KellyKoof15, Scott @SSepich, Mike @mmurrayXV are all fun and active accounts to follow.

One twitter feed that kept me going this entire off season was the MLB Trade Rumors account. If there is even the slightest possibility of a trade or signing

For those fans in the Northwest here are a few accounts of the teams that are pretty active and fun. Eugene Emeralds @EugeneEmeralds, Hillsboro Hops @HillsboroHops, and the Corvallis Knights @CorvKnights.

Blogs

There are a lot of great baseball blogs that are active right now.  The best place to begin looking for baseball blogs is on the MLB blogs central page http://mlblogs.mlblogs.com/. Here you can find the top 50 read Fan and MLB pro blogs for each month and the year.

Here are a few really good ones I’ve found. Cook & Sons’ Baseball Adventures is one of my favorite blogs to check from time to time. Ballparks on a Budget is great for anyone wanting to do a baseball trip.  For all of you Dodger fans that read my blog Dodger Blue World is an amazing fan blog entirely focused on the Dodgers.

Being a Mariner fan I like to go to ussmariner.com for all of my Mariner news.

Facebook Pages

Blogs and Twitter feeds aren’t the only way to have fun with things that are baseball related, Facebook is also a great place to interact with fans and talk some baseball.

If you aren’t already connected to the blog through Facebook you should. 9 Inning Know It All Facebook is more than just the blog, we have photos, discussions and even some trivia.

One of my more recent finds is the Lil’ K Facebook http://www.facebook.com/pages/Lil-K-Corvallis-Knights/240712289288990?ref=ts&fref=ts Lil’ K is connected with the Corvallis Knights and is a supporter of the Oregon St Beavers as well.

A few other Facebook pages that you can follow that are baseball related include.

Blog Talk Radio Shows

Also don’t forget to check out the 9 Inning Baseball Talk Radio Show.  You can listen to past episodes or live on Wednesday nights at 8:30 pm pacific standard time.

There are a lot of different opportunities for a baseball fan to stay connected to the game.  Find a few places that you can get your baseball fix and enjoy because baseball is coming.
